The Divine Feminine
It
has not been too long ago that most people would not
have even known there was any such thing as a “divine
feminine”. The idea that God is in some way associated
with being feminine would have been considered absolutely
incredulous and beyond belief. Sadly, that is not the
case today. I believe this heresy is growing in its
influence and is becoming a major player in championing
the apostate church that is alive and well today. This
false church will be a spiritual harlot that will balloon
into prominence after the rapture. Because of space
restrictions this article will be unable to address
the numerous aspects having to do with this issue, so
the readership must understand there is much more that
needs to be said, but cannot within the confines of
these pages. A detailed message on this subject will
be prepared in the near future.
The “divine feminine” issue
is multi-faceted, and the intricate details of each
facet depend entirely upon who is doing the writing.
The thrust in each one, however, is that God is actually
a goddess. She gives her power to women who are naturally
superior to men, and has expressed herself in many forms
in many religions throughout history. We can believe
it is no accident the apostate church seen riding the
beast in Revelation 17 is described as a reprobate and
blasphemous prostitute. Reading information on this
subject can become somewhat of a headache because of
all the meaningless new-age phrases and terms used to
shore-up propositions that are inherently ridiculous,
totally insane and down-right blasphemous.
A lot of what is found in this heresy
is quite simply male-bashing all dressed up in the guise
of religion. You might note that just about anything
can be said about anybody as long as the indictment
is prefaced with a condescending smile and the words,
“Bless his heart…” In the divine feminine
writings, however, such a preface is not even used—they
go straight for the jugular with no pleasantries to
blunt the attack. The masculine pronouns used for God,
Jesus and the Holy Spirit are stripped away while paternal
leadership and responsibility in the home and in the
church are held in contempt. The following words are
quite strong, but I believe they aptly describe the
heart of the issue: there exists a seething hatred for
everything masculine associated with God, His Word,
His church and the home.
Why is this so? Satan hates the home.
God established the home thousands of years before He
founded His church. Some refer to what God established
as “divine order”, and that is a good term.
The religious/feminist agenda, however, rejects divine
order and attempts to install a matriarchal system in
both the home and the church. Satan’s attack is
two-fold. First, he wants to destroy the God-ordained
home. Whatever touches the home touches everything else,
and whenever the masculine/paternal aspect of the home
is denatured it has been undermined. Second, he is preparing
the world for a religious system that is grounded in
goddess worship, a heresy that will become more palatable
as the end draws closer.
That men and women are equal in value
is a no-brainer. That men and women are not the same
in many ways should also be a no-brainer (sameness and
equality are not synonymous). This article is not about
the role of men and women in the church, but I must
say, in context of the divine feminine heresy, that
God has ordained the leadership of the home and the
church to be handled by men. And because this is so,
Satan understands it is much easier to confound and
corrupt this divine order when God is viewed as a goddess,
a blasphemous personage that is now often called “the
divine feminine”.
Some of the proponents of the divine
feminine have been educated in very prestigious schools.
Patricia Lynn Reilly, a feminist theologian, received
an MDiv from Princeton Seminary. She associates creation
with “the goddess”, and penned the following
which describes her view of creation.
In The Very Beginning Was The
Mother
On the first day, she gave birth
to light and darkness. They danced together. On the
second day, she gave birth to land and water. They
touched. On the third day, she gave birth to green
growing things. They rooted and took a deep breath.
On the fourth day, she gave birth to land, sea and
air creatures. They walked and flew and swam. On the
fifth day, her creation learned balance and cooperation.
She thanked her partner for coaching her labor. On
the sixth day, she celebrated the creativity of all
living things. On the seventh day, she left space
for the unknown. 1
Another aspect of this end-times false
religious system is the Order of the Divine Feminine
that “...worships the Goddess as the source of
all Life. As the Goddess chooses the Feminine as her
creative aspect, we worship the Divine Feminine in all
Her forms.” 2 There are
thirteen core beliefs in this group. Among them are:
1) all Life springs from the Goddess, 2) the Goddess
gives us Life so that we may know Her Love and Her Power,
3) for all that is creative, the Goddess chooses the
Feminine aspect, 4) for all that is destructive, the
Goddess chooses the Masculine aspect, 5) we raise Energy
to affect our lives by drawing forth Her Love and Her
Power with those closest to us, etc., etc.
They have a worship system in this
heresy. They worship the goddess in several ways including:
“...honoring her sacred Vessels, seeking out,
feeling and sharing Her Love and Her Power, raising
Energy whenever we see a need for greater Love and Power
in our lives”, etc. They believe women must assist
men in their spiritual lives, men must be kept in check
by the Feminine, men are only temporary stewards of
the Goddess’ Power and such Power must not be
subject to the negative aspects of men. They have symbols,
rites, etc. The list of observances could go on, but
you get the idea.
As you read about the divine feminine
it is easy to not understand what is being said. Terms
and phrases are used that make no sense. You might remember
the drugged-out hippies of the ‘60s who would
speak in philosophical psycho-babble about life, love
and peace. Some of those who used LSD claimed they could
hear colors. Their brains were so full of poison they
were disconnected from reality, with some jumping off
high buildings thinking they could fly. The pitiful
thing was they believed they were privy to some esoteric
knowledge reserved only for the enlightened. The culmination
was almost always associated with sex. Woodstock, McRae
and other such events were resplendent with nakedness,
sex orgies, drug use, catalyst music and the celebration
of “freedom” (whatever that might have meant).
Enter the divine feminine. Many of
the same non-sensical words and phrases used by the
druggies are being used in the feminist heresy —
I call these terms theo-babble. Their hearts are so
filled with the poison of God-hatred they have flat-out
rejected the infallible Word of God and substituted
the lie. Yes, the same lie Eve swallowed hook, line
and sinker in the garden. That is, you can reject what
God has said, and you can disobey Him with no fear of
consequences. How can this be? Easy. You have the divine
feminine in you!
Many in the religious world are accepting
goddess worship with few if any questions asked. This
heresy will progress until the post-rapture world will
willingly bow before the anti-Christ as members of the
apostate church whose description in Revelation 17 is
feminine. This is not some fictitious scenario coming
from the likes of a religious Orson Welles. This was
predicted by Jesus, seen by John and is being fulfilled
in our generation.
The current emphasis upon goddessism
(a new word in this article), coupled with the appearance
of the divine feminine in various forms around the world
to people of various religions, should most certainly
capture our attention. It is appealing, provocative
and dangerous. What would it take for the entire religious
world to bow to goddess worship? Probably it would take
some female deity being able to unite everyone under
one flag. Is it possible this female deity would be
accepted by all? Yes, because of the natural human inclination
toward the esoteric and mysterious. Well, what would
be her message? She would emphasize her love for all
her children of all religions plus unity, peace,
toleration and, of course, her authority.
This is actually happening as you read
these words. There is a world-wide event reaching the
far corners of the earth that is enveloping the hearts
and minds of untold numbers of people, and that spectacle
is the numerous appearances of the divine feminine under
the label of “the apparitions of Mary”.
Though thoroughly entrenched in Roman Catholic theology,
the idea of goddess worship is not foreign even to Muslims,
New Agers, Buddhists, Hindus and some protestant groups
such as the Lutherans, Episcopalians and even some Methodists.
3 The mysterious woman who appears
accepts worship, and issues both promises and warnings.
She goes by various names, but the most common is Queen
of Heaven 4. The point is this
stuff is real and the appeal is becoming universal.
It must be said with great emphasis that such apparitions
are NOT of God. The woman who appears often calls herself
the Mother of God and admits to appearing to different
people of different religions all over the world. She
is known and revered by many names in many cultures,
but each time she appears her message of love, inclusiveness
and tolerance is always the same. Sounds a lot like
the hippie generation mantra of the 60s.
Some believe such demonic appearances
are impossible. I disagree. This is not on the level
of childhood ghost stories. Our concern has nothing
to do with horror and terror in the middle of the night
in a cemetery. Rather, it has to do with deception,
ignorance, religiosity and other traits that characterize
Satanic efforts and the spiritually simple people intrigued
by them. Remember the encounter Moses had with the priests
of Egypt. That incident was real and at the same time
demonic.
In their book, commonly called Queen
of All, Jim Tetlow, Roger Oakland and Brad Myers
quote Charles Dickson, author of A Protestant Pastor
Looks at Mary, saying, “Mary has a universal
appeal that transcends our cultural, geographical and
even religious boundaries” (emphasis mine).
5 Indeed, in these last days Marian
worship is spreading across the entire spectrum of world
religion, in both the Christian and pagan world. Though
not all Catholics agree, there is presently a very strong
effort to make Mary co-redemptrix with Jesus. Obviously
goddess worship is becoming a very important aspect
of many religions without regard to their differences.
And this is exactly what is seen in the beast-riding
woman of Revelation 17.
No matter what we might want to believe
about the divine feminine the fact that it is a force
to be reckoned with in the terminal generation cannot
be denied. An objective and strictly unemotional study
of this heresy might open our eyes to some things we
should have seen as being obvious for a long time. Connecting
the dots is not difficult, and the conclusion is, in
my opinion, also quite clear.
The woman rides the beast and exercises
great control. That is, until anti-Christ is finished
with her. Then he will destroy her with a vengeance
because he will only tolerate her apostate
religion. He will never embrace it because all worship
must be toward him — goddess or no goddess. DLM
